Submissions
We are currently accepting both art and manuscript submissions. Before submitting your work, please read the About Us section of this website very carefully and become familiar with the types of books Shiny Red Ball Publishing is looking to print. Also, keep in mind that we are a small company that is only able to print a limited number of titles each year. The majority of what we print are picture books for children, but we may occasionally print books for adults and/or young adults as long as they fit within our mission as a company.
Submissions should be sent by going to Contact Us and submitting a message with "Submission Information Request" as the subject.
You will then receive a reply which will provide an email address that you should send the following to:
For both art and writing – include a short and informal statement about yourself, your work, and the inspiration for your work.
For writings – submit the entire manuscript unless it exceeds 50 pages, in which case send only the first 50 pages.
For art – submit several small, low resolution samples of your work in jpg or pdf format. If we would like to see the work at a higher resolution, we will request it at the appropriate time.
